What I love most about tattooing is the connection to my clients. For me, tattooing is a vehicle to create customized designs, tap into its rich history, and embracing the next best thing. I like discovering what people hold interest in, and seizing the opportunity to learn something new. My influences stem from American Traditional, Folk designs, and Japanese tattoo work. My initial passion is held in the printmaking medium, but I have found that there is a lot of crossover between the two.
I currently reside in Austin, Texas. Up until recently, my entire adult life was based in NYC. I spent that time cultivating experience in the tattoo industry, getting a formal education in the arts and coupled my time with community projects. I am still an active board member of my own non profit organization, Citizens for the Arts, Inc. I pride myself on my work ethic and commitment to my community, the craft of tattooing, and the art world at large. I take tattooing very seriously, but choose not to forget the surprises along the way.
